I am a web developer. Last november, with Talao, I dove into decentralized applications development on the Ethereum blockchain. This article is about my findings, my feelings, my concerns and some tips for web developers that are interested in building dApps.

Controlling the cost of the transactions our users have to pay in our dApps is crucial. Since we are anyways implementing tests of our contracts, usually with Truffle, why not take advantage of those tests to display the cost of each one?

Oh crap, my second function costs almost twice of the first, and is way less important in my dApp ;)
