Joining the startup eMindHub

Friday, December 15th 2017 - eMindHub - Aeronautique - Espace - Nucléaire - Drupal - Business

For almost a year now, I've been developing for the french start-up eMindHub. I'm very happy and proud today to join the company as Lead Developer, both as an employee and an investor.

eMindHub

eMindHub ?

At the heart of eMindHub is the connection between :

  • expertise seekers in high-competence fields such as aeronautics, space and nuclear energy, ...
  • and experts that can solde those problems, advise, suggest profiles, ...

How does it work? You just have to register on the website and then you can ask questions, post open positions, ... or answer those requests if you are an expert in the field. The business model is freemium : the base features are free, then you can pay for different features like anonymity, but also more advanced features like "private circles".

Why I'm joining the company

Simply put, I want to have a more direct contact with digital entrepreneurship, adventure, risk and I want to invest myself more personally. I need others, their skills I don't have, their vision and of course to share this trip together. What is better than a start-up for this ?

eMindHub seduced me with the concept : it's not like on LinkedIn where you can add me, I add you and we mutually validate our competences. Our vision is to build a proof of expertise based on the real services exchanged via the website.

It's also to meet intellectual challenges and discover new technologies. For instance, our biggest challenges nowadays are :

  • the blockchain : this technology is of course behind most of the cryptocurrencies and can do a lot more. We want to leverage it in order to establish the precise and irrefutable proof of expertise of the experts we are working with.
  • artificial intelligence : we want to use AI to better analyze the expertise requests, and find the best people to answer those questions.

See you later, I hope for great news about eMindHub !

Note : 3 days a week, I'll still be a freelance Drupal developer.
